We started benchmarking Content Mangement Systems and portals in 2001. Back then the market was even more impenetrable than today. Some products was in technical senses very unmature. Implementing CMS-based systems was risky business. Some of the major vendors form the beginning of the millennium has disiaspeared today, and a few have survived.

Every year up til today we have given a view of the development of the CMS and portal market in the past year.

November 2006 we launched the first CMS & Portal Awards^® to make sure that the best CMS and portal vendors was paid their well rewarded tribute.
