The Global CMS/Portal vendors Nominees 2008/09
Again this year the selection of the nominees is tough! The CMS and portal systems just get better and better and even the smaller CMS and portal vendors are gaining momentum.
BNP Consulting® and CMS & Portal Benchmark® Partners have been talking to a lot of customers and users in Europe and the USA and have listened to their experiences with the CMS/portals, vendors and solution providers. (In fact CMS & Portal Benchmark® Partners have corrected the benchmark to reflect the customers desires and needs).
At this moment the the Award Jury has nominated about 25 Global CMS /portals to participate in the main CMS & Portal Benchmark®.
The Local CMS/Portal vendors Nominees 2008/09
The CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team have in the past year seen a lot of local CMS and portal vendors that have the potential to break through on a broader market. These systems have the best potential to become global actors in the CMS and portal market.
The selection of the local CMS and portal nominees is even tougher than the global CMS and portal nominees! The local CMS and portal systems are gaining momentum!
At this moment the Award Jury and the CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team have nominated about 15 local CMS /portals on different markets to participate in the Benchmark.

As the previous years the CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team will have a lot of talented CMS and portal vendors that feel they have been unrighteous treated, but the CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team try to be as objective as possible in both nominating and judging the CMS and portal systems.
First of all The CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team have selected the members of the Award Jury to make sure that they have practical experience within Content Management and Portal project management, development and editorial use of CMS's and portals.
The CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team tries to judge the systems on the basis of the replies to the Request for Information (RFI) of the CMS and Portal Benchmark® to make sure that all perspectives of the CMS/portal are covered.
The CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team make sure that the vendors have every opportunity to deliver additional material that is not already covered by the RFI.
The CMS & Portal Benchmark® Team let the vendors present the rationale behind their decisions and the functionality in order to obtain the best possible basis for the nominations.
